Fernando "El Pop" Romo studied Physicas at UNAM and later switched to Electronic Engineering at UAM. He worked for ACER in the IT department, where he implemented several projects regionally. An entrepreneur, he founded "Origen de Sistemas, S.A. de C.V." and "La Cofradia Digital", a popular technology blog, very well-known among the Open Source community. He currently is President at the "Mexico Linux User Group", A.C., CEO of "Incuvox, S.A. de C.V." and Director of Voipcamp, S.C.
